my ideas for a classic mustang

i just want to start by saying i have a lot of ideas with little know how but i have a lot of automotive connections .OK to start i want to try and find a 69 sports roof running or not idc i just need a base to start from my goal is to make this car a daily driver as cheaply as possible using all used parts all of which i can get for free. my second idea which i know is ludicrous is , if i can not find a sports roof buy a coupe and dynacorn reproduction parts (its a lot of work that i would love to do ).OK i am aiming for light weight so no ac i need a heater and a very sparse interior with no rear seats just 2 front seats and my dash with carpet and and a furnished roof from there im debating between what size motor to put in it my goal is 300 at the rear wheels. my first thought was a 351 stroker simple dirt cheap to do.second thought 2.3 turbo much lighter i think it may be less cost effective and less reliable in the future .from there i would like to here everyone elses opinion as well im going to strengthin the frame. thank you for reading ,Rob

yea first post!!!!!

OK i am aiming for light weight - lol.
i need a heater - why
no rear seats - takes out 5 pounds, not worth it, headache
my dash with carpet and and a furnished roof - if you lose ur rear seats lose all the interior stuff, otherwise it will look just fucking odd. I did it to my first pony

put weight in the trunk, w/e possible. battery relocate ext....

Imo

but welcome

N/A 300hp will be faster than boosted 300hp, and it would be very simple to achieve with a 351W.

If I don't sell my 67, I am going to save up and put a 300 EFI I6 in it, or figure out how to TBI my 200 with a 300 TBI setup.
