hi-pro exhaust manifolds
I'm getting ready to put a set of factory type HI-PRO exhaust manifolds on a 1966 289 coupe. The question is; Do I have to modifiy the motor mounts and fan to do this. Dallas Mustang, where I brought the manifolds says they just bolt right on.....however two people have said when they did it, the mounts had to be raised 3/4" for clearance. Anybody have any experience w/ hi-pro exhaust manifolds. Thanks for the help, Bob

Is this what you are talking about? If so, I don't see why you would, but if know people that have, ask them why. Then call Dallas Mustang and ask them and tell them about the guys that had to modifiy the motor mounts and fan.
