351 Winsor w/ a C4-Tranny?
How do you think the lightly designed c4 tranny would take the small block HO 351 winsor engine? I'm looking at a 69 with that combo. The last one I looked at that had that combo had a strange loud grinding noise and the full potential of the engine was never really given. So what do you guys think worth my time?

I run a C4 behind my Windsor and it holds up just fine.

The "Strange lound grinding sound" probably has nothing to do with the C4 in general (that particular tranny may have had a problem), in fact they have the potential to be VERY strong transmition. They are ideal for street and track because they are strong, light, and plentiful. Hope this helps with your decision.
