1965 Valance

I was wondering if you all know any good sites to get a valance. I am looking for something that don't look "stock". Maybe something like what came on the shelby's... I am leaning that because I am having some cooling issues and summer is coming quick. I don't know just thought I'd see if you all had any good idea's I've looked on NPD and CJ's so far. Thanks guys.

Yes we can help you.

You might want to look at replacing your radiator to a 4 row or new Aluminium.
add run a 160 thermostat

Yea that's like what I was thinking of. I looked at CJ's a while ago and they had them but while looking this past week I can't find them. They may be sold out for the time being. I got a 3 core in it now. I am going to buy an elec fan to put on the front to help push some of the air thur. I have a 195 in it now, and i run 100% coolant with no water added... Besides the cooling issue I really am getting tired of some of the people around here. A friend of mine has a 67 coupe and from a distance and to people who don't know they get us mixed up sometimes. So I am looking to start tweaking the way mine looks just to set me out from the "crowd".

The first thing to do is
1. Replace the 195 with a 160, stock was a 180
2. Bigger Radiator

Well I got the thermostat replaced, we'll see what that does. The radiator is on hold as all I can find go for $500+ and I'm laid off. I have looked around some and the only valance I can find that is close to what I want is the one from the "E2" body kit and they are asking $300+ for it... Seems a bit pricey for me at the moment.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem. I finally found a site that I thought wasn't too pricey and it's just what I was looking for

1965-66 Shelby Fiberglass Racing Apron - Style A

I have looked over this site and everything seems to be within a reasonable price and they got a lot of things to build you a Shelby clone.
