drip rail?

have my 67 coupe stripped down pretty good and fixing places needed. my driver side is fine but passenger side has a few places needing work. how much is the drip rail needed. this is not going to be a daily driver. more of a custom show vehicle. only power windows. shaved dash. shaved tailights. all emblems. would it be worth trying to replace the rotted piece or just cut off?

ya i Googled this and seen it looks pretty nice. i have a 83 ranger with shaved drip rails but the roof line is different and works good without them.

Shave it! My buddy did it on his 66 Coupe and it looks great! His car was pretty much a daily driver and he really had no problems with leaks or anything.
