Rear brake swap

I am planning on replacing my front drums on my 1966 to disc brakes through CSRP. I was wondering is it worth the money to convert the rear end to disc also or will a rear drum rebuild kit be just a good.

If your just driving the car rear drums are fine.

If you are showing it or road racing it. rear disc are a must.

Most of your braking is done by the front discs. Going disc in the rear will give a small improvement braking but will give superior fade resistance. If you drive hard with lots of braking, do the disc. If it is a daily driver that does not get worked hard, keep the drums.

Good luck and Be Safe
