What engines ccan a standard C4 handle without major modification?
because i want to put in a 302 engine block and am worried that i will break my tranny. so does anyone know? (its my first real engine swap, I'm replacing the straight 6 my 67 currently has for something with a little more oomph)

A 67 engine bay was designed to hold up to a 429 (not that changing spark plugs will be easy with an engine that big, but it will "fit")...A 302 should have not problem fitting.

a c4 will hold up fine. but if you plan to shift it yourself you might want to get a full manual valve body, tci makes some good ones case you need ideas.

302's were standard an pretty much all 302's so yes. It's will handle it just fine unless you plan on making some massive #'s
