1970 engine options, 460?

Hello: Im new to mustangs, so lots of ?
Can i bolt a 460 big block type motor into a 1970 mach 1 using the 351 motor mounts and trans mounts that came in the car?
If not, what to get?

No, the 460 is considerably wider than a 351W. You'll probably have to beef up the suspension some too, because it weighs quite a bit more as well. I'm not sure what all you'll need besides the mounts and crossmember.

Don't they make a kit for a 429/460 to go in the 1970 Mustang? I will see if I can find it.
