Cam Break In Lube?

Before I start installing our pistons I want to smear some sort of cam lube onto the lobes. I would use this same stuff on the bottom of the lifters when we install them. What do you guys recommend I use for this? Something with Zinc?

Flat tappet, or roller? What brand cam? Most cam manufactures make their own lube. I recently made a thread about wiping a lobe, and if I hadn't used Comp Cams break in lube, they wouldn't have warrantied it. I'd go with who made the cam.

good advice.you can also buy a pint to put in with the oil.
