Car Cover

Debating on whether I should order a car cover not...can i get some advice? My car is usually parked out in the hot california sun and im starting to see general wear on my seats...will a car cover help prevent this? I got a coupon code from a friend and i am planning on purchasing a car cover at carscover.com. It seems to be the best place thus far...

If anybody would like the coupon codee, it is YT3M8C.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, but i wouldn't post coupon codes man. Some guy did that with the American Muscle code and it got revoked.

Buy a Covercraft cover from CarCoverUSA. I've done quite a bit of consulting at Covercraft, and know they make the best cover on the market. All are made to exact dimensions of the car, and are multi-layer, breathable fabrics. Mine was about $190.

I found some decent ones from empire. This cover was a replacement cover for a custom cover that cost three times as much and started leaking water and collecting dust under the cover in less than a year. My Empire cover is 4 months old, has survived numerous strong thunderstorms and seering Texas sun, and so far is exceeding my expectations. I have 3 cars under cover, soon the other two will be covered by Empire.

car covers are a damn good investment. i have two myself. one is just for everyday blah, blah, blah....but my second one is for rain/snow. its alot thicker and fits the car perfectly and doesnt let any water on the car. its cumbersome sometimes to put on but it goes on in like 1 min and is totally worth it! by far a good investment for keeping out the heat if your car sits outside like mine does all the time. i need a garage!!

Had a car cover for years. With the winds we get around here the cover rubbed the paint off on the corners, by the headlamps and taillights. Do not recall the brand and it fit like a glove. Not sure what went wrong.

My car is not my dd, so when it sits in my driveway, its is always under a cover.
But I cheaped out and got a $50. cover. Works fine, but the car does get wet when it rains heavy, but it dries quickly.

I'm in S. Florida, so, like you, its mostly for the sun anyway.
