whats the difference between backspace and offset???
this is confusing me.. I have a 65 and i need to know whats the widest tire i can go on the rear but still sits flush or even inside the fender well. I do have the explorer 8.8 in the rear. this is starting to fustrate me. lol i would like to do a 17 inch rim

How wide is your rearend?
I need to know this so I can tell the back spacing it needs. 17" is easy. I have 17"X9.5" on Rear with 5.25 back spacing and 17"X7" Fronts 4.5" back spacing.
