Engine Color

What is the correct engine color for a 66 200? The autozone right by my house has three different Ford blues and I wasn't sure which one was correct for a 66.

Thx

I believe all 66 is when they chaged from the lighter robins egg blue, to the darker corporate blue.

ok that sounds about right. I got a can of duplicolor then after spraying it It looked a little bit on the light side to me.

They got Old Ford Blue, Ford Blue, and Dark Ford Blue. I think the one you'll want is the Old Frod Blue. It's going to be closest to the color you want.

I believe this was in another thread as well. Old ford blue looks kind of like an industrial blue-grey color. As one person put it (or maybe several), "It looks like a tractor engine."
Be different! Go magenta! just kiddin'

I think i'll see if I can get some of the old ford blue. I haven't sprayed the block or anything yet, I just did the air cleaner to test it out.
