blinker and temp gauge

to quick questions

1 what would cause the temp gauge to go all the way to hot if the car is on?

2 my left blinker is and brake light don't work. the bulb is good and the light on the dash comes on when i hit the blinker switch

There are alot of things that could cause that to happen to the gauge. Like is your car over heating or is it just the gauge itself.

For you're break lights it could be a loose wire or even a short.

checked all your fuses? shoot i know my dash lights dont come on at all...

Temp gauge going to hot with only he key on not running and motor is cold.

This is the fix.

Temp gauge, Unhook it from the sender on the intake, with the key on It is the red wire with white stripe. The gauge should go to cold.

If this works you need a new sending unit for it.

The brake Light and turn signal not working. That is coming from your turn signal wiring in the steering colum. Replace the turn signal wiring.
