gauges not working on my 69

so none of my gauges work at all, even the speedometer i swapped the speedo cable and the speedometer still doesnt work. its a non tach cluster. i took apart the dash and got back there and looked around and as far as i can tell all the wires are hooked up. the lights to light up the gauges work if that means anything. but i dont know what to look into next, so any help is greatly apreciated

have you checked the engine harness? it's group of wires one to the oil pressure sending unit, one to the coil, and one to the temp sending unit on the intake. make sure those are hooked up and the wires aren't broken. as for the speedo, idk, maybe some of the other members can chime in on that....is your speedo gear good on the tranny and on the cable? try hooking up the speedo cable gear up to like a drill or something and have someone run the drill, while you check on the speedo....
