anouther rear end question..
Will a 9" rear end from a late 60s mustang fit in my 71? I found a chart that says the late 60s rear is 2" shorter then the 71 would i have to modify it at all?? I can get this 9" with disc brakes for $1000 is this a good price?
Thanks for any help. |

Welcome to MM Forums...
That is correct, The 9" Rear end for a 1971 up is the easiest rear end to find. and are cheaper. The 1k rear end with disc will work you just have to have less back spacing on your wheels or add spacers to your wheels. Rear disc new sell for $500 to $700 ... 9" is about $250. Does it have gears? traction lock? Good Luck |
