thx! i like the dif in timing marks. do the line up then and are correct? because with my 289 harmonic the marks are off. also i have heard to watch for reverse flo pumps. now the direction of flow is from pump into the motor and pushes out on top through thermostat? or does the pump push the water through the radiator and to the top of thermostat then down to botom? im using the 69 302 pump and its neck is on pass side. rotation of crank and pully will be clock wise correct? when i try to start this thing this weekend which direction will the fluid flow in the radiator if i look through the cap?

The marks are for a couple applications for it. You just take your motor to no1 to top dead center and maker your set of timing makers.
If you use your stock pully set up and water pump, the water work go from the bottem hose into the motor, and up the top hose. |
