Hey I am really interested is your engine set up. Can you give me specifics? ballpark what would I expect to spend on a turbo set up like that? How much torque, horse power and mpgs do you expect to get out of it? Thanks a lot, awesome car!

Money wise, I do not really know. I do know I spent well over $25,000.00 doing the whole restoration and I did "everything" myself! Some of the stuff I already had and the other stuff I bought new or rebuilt. I know we had 300 rwhp with the converter that went bad. I have not put it back on the dyno since the new converter. Hoping to get around 30 mpg though.
The head and intake are massively ported and has big valves. We are running a BoPort 1.0 cam with 85lbs injectors, a ATR header with a G3/G4 turbo, 3 inch exhaust out of the turbo, then splitting into two 2 1/2 inch exhaust out the back.
We had 240 rwhp @ 10 lbs of boost and with a bad converter we had 300 rwhp @ 25lbs of boost on a very hot day, with no fan blowing on the intercooler. So I know there is more hp there with a good converter, which we have now and cold air blowing through the intercooler. But my dyno guy moved. Remember this is with a A4LD automatic trany with a lockup converter. If we had a 5 speed in it the HP would be more!

Very nice build. Wish I could say I built all my own stuff, just don't have the time or talent. 300HP to the tires through the Auto trans is impressive. Must be 350+ at crank..???? That is getting it done!
I have the Heidts MustII in my 69, best move I made, not as much room with the BBF, but would have been a nightmare with the stock towers. And I think the 65/66 eng bay is even smaller........good choice. Drives well too, I'll bet.

Good Luck! Keep us informed if you get another dyno pull or track times.

PS. I think the Horsepower Connection place you mentioned is where we got the FAST system and custom harnesses for my buddy's twin turbo 04 Cobra. Super Guy< can't think of his name....very knowledgeable with the EFI
