351w in my 67

Just a quick update on my '67 coupe I put the engine and trans in last weekend and will be working on getting it all hooked up this weekend. So here are the pics. it is a little dirty from sitting in our barn and there is some rust on the valve covers but I was gonna get different ones anyway.

One thing I am having trouble with was the hedman swap headers that I put on it hit the power steering arm would the shorty headers help this or am I just going to hit something else?

Headers are ALWAYS a "B" in these cars, JBA worked for me, but I still cracked em during installation- had to have them rewelded.

Found the part that I needed to get the headers to not hit the power steering. If any one else needs this there is a power steering cylinder lowering bracket part number: PSLB1 01 from mustangsunlimited.com

also I'm a third of the way through replacing the wiring harness in the mustang and I've gotta tell you the American autowire kit is amazing. Easy instructions and plenty of wire. 1967-1968 Ford Mustang Wiring Harness

Yeah the autowire system requires cutting off the stock connections for things like the backup lamps but has been very simple for two backyard builders with no wiring experience. als the fact that it plugs into itself in sections and has plenty of extra ciruts is sweet. The thing with the headers is I already had them and am really itching to get this baby on the road. I'll take some pics of the new wiring soon to show you guys.
