Front Suspension Question
I have a 1967 Mustang Coupe and im putting on all the new front suspension. Control Arms, sway bar, strut bars, and spindles are already on and torqued... ive tried to compress the spring different ways and shimmy it in on top of the upper control arm but i cant compress it enough... help please, there must be some trick

I wouldn't use those.
![]() I use the one autozone has. ![]() It is the same one in that picture I posted. Have had no problems out of it and will always use it. I use the fork on the top and claws on the bottom.

They are the rental ones so you can return the tool and get your money back once you are finished.

Yeah, the spring compressor you posted is an accident waiting to happen. I've made them work before, but I'm always nervous until it's done.
