new with questions

hey i have a white 69 coupe that ive done alot of work to.

my main issue is that i dont have a tach. when i line up at the strip i dont know what rpm to jump at, im baisicly going off of gut....some times it works some times it dosnt.

can anyone recomend a tach that is functional and dosnt look all that bad on a 69 dash.

also are the rear leaf springs a must to replace ive had two mustang specialty shops look at it and they have given me different answers. one says they are to old and one says their fine...any advice?

thanks

yep that's the same thing I did on my white 69, but I used a 3 1/2" autometer. You can attatch it to your steering column witha hose clamp.

The clock is on the passengers side, so that would kind of suck.

I have a column mount and it looks/works perfect. It chose it because i wanted to keep a stock look and didnt want a huge tach sitting on my dash, and IMO it is just as functional.
