ford 9" rear


would a ford 9" rear from a 86 f-150 fit in a 1968 mustang...thanks

The housing is too wide, but you can have it cut to size, but then you need axles, and have spring perches welded on. The 86 9" might have 31 spline axles. If you're lucky they are thick enough to have them shortened and re-splined, but its probably worth it to just order a nice alloy set.

67-70 Mustang/Cougar rear end will bolt into your car.
