Finaly In The Body / Paint Shop!

she's finaly in the body shop! im so excited!

first they hafta take it down to get the fender pulled then cut out the corner of the doors(got rusty over the winter)

then primer and seal

then paint

than shelby stripes biotch!!

$2500 for the body work...does that sound reasonable for that much work?

Why did it start to come apart? did the welds start to break loose or was it rust or what?

its only primered right now...it will be the same color as before except with silver shelby stripes with a little maroon tint in them.

69 is my favorite year. however, i wasnt gonna pass this one up.

I was thinking It was just primered. In a 65 Mustang its hard to make the hood fit right. Everything has to be right or it just will not line up. How does you hood fit?

it fits pretty good. although, one of the bolts for the left hindge is stripped so im probly gonna replace all of em so it looks uniform...other than that...there are some gaps that im not too happy with. but thats not what i paid the man for. i'll take some pictures of em for ya. should be up sometime today.
