302 With 351 C heads

Guys, I am looking at two options for my car.

I have a 302 with clevland heads in my car that needs
reworking. I would like to go with the 347 kit and
keep the C heads. Anyone done this?

just make sure you use pistons that will clear the valves. Other than that, it will all bolt up the same.

can you put 351 C heads on a 1970. If so what kind of preformance would you get over the stock 302 heads?

You get a lot more flow. You have to use a BOSS 302 intake or adapters for a 302 intake. Also requires new headers.

Block is a 70..Heads are 2- B 70 351 C heads.

It has a street Boss intake and headers made my AAR.

I would like to Kit it up to a 347 ...I have a 9 inch..

390 rear gear and a ford Motorsports 5 speed.

Engine was done back in early 90s with crane Fireball Cam

and 750 Vac carb. I will go the 347 route or a 393 W.
