click the insert image tab, then allow the drop down at the top.
Then copy the URL "direct link" on the photobucket, then hit ok. Good Luck, I love to see your ride. |

Do you mean that you cannot get them to upload to photobucket or that you cannot transfer them from photobucket to this site.
If it is the later, look at the toolbar above where you write the posts. There is a little yellow box that has mountains. Click that and then insert the http image file from photobucket-copy and paste. Then click enter |

[/IMG] Again. Still having trouble getting these to open. I will re-import them to photobucket tonight. Perhaps it is the size of the first photo. I will start talking about the build this evening. As I sure can use some advice. A special thanks to Mustang One already as you led me in the right direction for a radiator last month.

The color is the original ford metallic blue from 1968. The stripes are PPG pure white. It is bas coat clear coat system.Although the car has a long way to go it has been an interesting build with the exception of the poor economy.
It was a frame off restoration. I actually paid a professional to cut out and install an entire new floor in it. They did a beautiful job. I have done the majority of the assembly with the exception of the paint. We constructed subframe connectors into the frame which comes thru the rear floor wells while it was all apart. The suspension is stock with the exception of lowering and poly bushings. Gas shocks sway bars It has Cal tracks on the rear and RRS rack and pinion on the front. Brakes are Cobra disc units all around with the Mustang Steve brackits. Mosier full posi rear end w/ 4.11 s Tremic TKO 600 tranny overdriven w/ aluminum liteweight flywheel hydraulic clutch etc. It is a Kiesler pkg. I built the engine myself and broke it in on a dyno up in Sarasota It is a351w based 427, internally balanced w/ AFR 225 heads roller cam roller rockers stud girdles and a main girdle. It is fed with a Barry Grant Sportsman carb and the exhaust was built be Accufab. After nearly 4 hours with the dyno I was happy nothing broke!! 570HP / 540 TQ- I just finished the fuel system used A RobbMcPerformance pickup in the stock tank 1/2" pickup and return lines. Braided in the rear and engine comp. Metal under the car. I am using a BG 250 Hot Rod pump with a bypass regulator set at 5 psi. Mustang One hooked me up with an aluminum radiator and dual fans to cool it - very nice pieces. I am now beginning to tackle the wiring. I went with an American Autowire wiring harness and so far very pleased. It is set up with circuits to handle halogen lights electric fans, fuel pumps etc. The short term goal is to hear it run again in the next month or so. It has been over a year since it ran on the dyno. My long term goal is to drive it by spring. Money and this heat in Florida right now are the set backs! |

So once again, I could use a little help. I took my car apart 5 years ago. And my memory is taking a break. The windshield wiper shafts stick out through the apron. Is there a bezel over them on the 68 like on the 65-66. I cannot find such a thing in my 100 bags of parts OR in any of the catalogs? Any one got a pic of what it is supposed to look like?
Thanks in advance for you help!! |

The 1967-70 wiper arms do not have bezel over them. The wiper arm has a wider ring at the bottem to cover to cover the hole and shafts.

I can see how it works as I get things together. I want to thank you for the help. This thing sure is a lot harder to put together than it was to take it apart. NOW any recomendations for A/c.. I really think I will need it in Florida.

Soooo!!! Wiring is such a treat. I now have the electric fans done and the front headlights and the front parking lights and the rear tailights and the fuel pump. Just installed my Ultra Lite gauges into the dash Looks awesome. Pics to follow. Still need to wire them. I am looking for an A/C system Anyone have experience with Classic or Vintage or Old Air. I sure dont want to screw that one up!!
