ignition

so i want to buy a new ignition system for my mustang, but there are so many choices. what have other people used for a 68 302, what do you like? i want a new distributor and coil, but i dont really want to spend more than 350 for both.

i have have msd eveything dis. coil and ignition, it came with ignition but i put the dis. in and it great....

Pertronix ...about $100 for unit, and coil..use your factory distributor.....just run a 12v source to the unit, bypass the resistor wire....

Fires both my Paxton Shelby, and my Boss 302....simple, and it works great....try finding a Mallory/Accel distributor cap, away from home..

Ther Pertronix is defiently the cheap easy way to go. I had it on my white 69, but the blue one has MSD 6AL with a MSD pro billet distributor.

i decided to go with a new pertronix billet distributor with a built in igniter 2 and a flamethrower 2 coil
