Choosing a 9-inch Rear End, '66

I'm converting to a mild 347 with intention of a daily driver. Any suggestions on differential considerations (limited-slip, posi, etc)? Sources in the Sacramento area? I'm leaning towards limited slip, about 3:25 - 3:40.

Thanks,

Fred

...it'll be mostly open road driving, pleasure / daily driver. The 347 is a stroked 302, about 400 hp / 400 Lbs Tq., 9.7:1 compression, fully roller, very streetable with a nice lob to it, nothing too wild. Also converting to a T5z tranny.

A limited slip and posi are NOT the same. You want a limited slip. A posi unit is locked all the time and is not for street use. With a T-5 in the works, I would get a 3.55 to 3.89 rear end gear.
