It's red primer over a $4000 paint job. After cutting the fender lips off, and the need for a hood scoop I've decided to paint the car a different color. I haven't driven the car enough to catch shif yet, but I don't give a shif. I like it looking ratty.

Checked my plugs and found my advance was WAY off, so my dad and I adjusted it back, wayyyyy back might i add because it was so far off, and seems to run smoother, cooler, and more pep! Just goes to show, check your plugs and timing

Usually retarding your timing will make it run hotter.

If I had retarded it from the factory timing, sure, but the fact that it was advanced way past the indicate marks, so i retarded it back to factory settings so to say, and should run cooler now that it shouldn't be pre-detonating

I picked up the front tires yesterday and had them mounted. Here's the car with the 19's. Took it to the cruise-in last night, had a blast. 17 or 19 I can go either way. The 19" tire is 0.1" taller in diameter so the speedo will read about the same and it's electric so I can program it.

Before

After

That's 285 wide front and rear now, but I think I can squeeze 295 front and 315 rear.

It would have to be advanced way past detonation for it to make it hot. Advancing it past factory setting will cool it off.
