need EFI set up for blown BOSS clevor
Hey Boys, I need an EFI setup to run my new setup. I have a 351, stock displacement, forged lower. It is 8.6 to 1, CHI alum heads and a vortech Ysi blower. I'm running a GT40 upper (pricemotorsports plates) and alum box upper intake. I need a system to run all this. I know of Fast, but want to hear how they are to setup and use. Looking for all opinions. Thanks in advance.

I'm running a watered down version of your setup, 408W with 351C 2v iron heads, 8.8:1 B&A Track Boss 351 intake, Vortech S-Trim. I was going to use the RetroTek BOSS EFI kit but I've been reading it has a lot of bugs. It's advertised as self tuning out of the box, bolt on and go. If it ever gets better reviews I till think I'll go this route. It is stealth, looks like a carb.
A friend of mine installed an Edelbrock Pro-Flo EFI kit on a 350 and it was great. It comes with a carb intake modded with injector bungs. I mentioned my engine combo to Edelbrock and they offered to mod my Track Boss intake but they wanted to charge me the same price as the kits that included an intake. I already paid for my intake, didn't want them charging me for it again just to weld in some bungs. I've yet to run the engine on boost. I recently installed an Innovate Air Fuel meter with wideband O2 sensor. I modded a Demon for blow through. I'm going tune it with the wideband then drive it in for a Dynotune.

OH! can I get some pics and details on your supercharger brackets please? I made mine but would rather have a production setup. I couldn't find anyone that made supercharger brackets for C heads on a W block.
I just noticed your past posts. Sounds like you're building my car, great minds think alike. I made my own T56 adapter to allow me to bolt a Viper T56 behind a T5 Lakewood bell. For lowering the engine, I used the early 65 mounts and modded them to move the engine back 1" and down 1". This moved the shifter back some but not enough so I made a remote shifter that placed it back another 7". Stan at Ford Powertrain makes conversion headers for a BOSS 302 in 65/66 Mustangs. I notched my shock towers, if you don't then changing spark plugs will be impossible in a 65/66 and I'm not sure headers would fit either But, your 67 is wider so you might be okay. I have high port plates on my heads, they raise the outer corner about 1/2" so it's not much difference from stock casting. ![]() ![]() ![]() I made my own pistons out of forged 351w dished pistons using this: ![]() Good luck.

Haha, jesus. you are a little bit farther ahead of me. I just picked up the Ysi last week. I was told that the CHI heads have both the cleveland and windsor front bolt patterns so I'm hoping it won't be to crazy. My motor is still not all together yet. I'm just trying to get my ducks in order first. I've following your build too. As far as our builds go it's gonna be very close, stroking your block is gonna give you a big start. i'm gonna stay in touch so maybe we can help eachother out. Thanks for all your help. Tom

Big Stuff 3 is by far the best Stand Alone I have ever had my hands on and I have used AEM, FAST and Megasquirt as well as BS3. We have it on our dragster that I am going to tune Tuesday. The best part about BS3 is how easy it is to make changes. It is also very easy to datalog and compare commanded and actual readings. We have the Race Pak as well but the standard version has a good amount of onboard memory so you don't have to have a laptop hooked up to it to datalog. You can set what parameters you want to log and it will do it all for you while your driving. Then when you get done making your pass, on the track or dyno, you can hook up the laptop and get the data.
Products | BigStuff3.com We have BS3 Pro SEFI and it is great. Here it is installed, but not with the wires cleaned up. Haven't gotten pictures of the final install yet. ![]()

It is a bit pricey, but the feature's that come on BS3 are better than some stand alone setups that cost thousands more.
