Threaded hole above fuel pump on 351C
I noticed a threaded hole above the fuel pump and was wondering if this had a purpose or if I could just plug it up? Any ideas or ways to plug it up? It is bigger than the oil pressure or temp sensor hole.
The engine is 351C 2v. It is from my 73 Mach 1. Thanks, |

My mistake, my spatial directions suck. It is the hole to the right of the fuel pump opening. Between the pump and the oil filter.
Is that a plug that you have in it? Thanks, |

That is a a place you can put a oil sender at. On the 351C we put it on the block behind the intake.

I believe you are referring to the oil pressure port, you should consider running an external oil line from this port to the pressure port at the back of the block, with a tee at the back of the block to mount your sensor, provides better oiling on the 351c

BOLDT,
Is that just basically putting threaded nozzels into the sending holes and then connecting the two? Do you still have a pressure gauage then? |

yes, thats right, connect the front and back ports to provide more oil to the back of the block. place a tee at the back of the block for pressure sensor/gauge, I have a mechanical gauge in the engine compartment and an electrical in the dash.
