67 fit 68 for 5 lug conversion

67 fit 68 for 5 lug conversion


i have located a 67 coupe 5 lug car for my 68 coupe which is currently a 4 lug, will the 67 parts fit on a 68 to do a 5 lug conversion?
all the info i can get before i buy the 67 would be very helpful

Yes the things you need will cross over just fine.

The 67 has diffrent lower control arms but you use yours instead.
The steering will cross over, it will be nice it the steering box on the 67 is a rag joint one also.

are there any other years that just bolt in to the 1968 coupes?

Spindles are the same so you just need the 5 lug brake setup. Steering for I6 and V8 were the same for 67-68.

67 Spindle - Disc and Drum were the same spindle
68 Spindle - Drum uses 67 spindle, Disc is different spindle

1969 Drum and disc brake spindles are different. Drum spindles are the same as 1967-1968. Disc spindles are the same as 1968. So they should work.

the 1969 is the most like a 1968 of all the Mustangs.
