Overlooked Modifications to a Classic Stang?
What are some of the most overlooked modifications that people overlook when building/modifying a classic Mustang, especially those mods for comfort and/or performance. Include the reason why one should consider the particular mod.
i.e. Overdrive transmission, electric fan, Ipod hook-up capable radio, quality aftermarket speakers, etc... |

Aside from what you've already mentioned, you can upgrade to a new aluminum radiator (less weight and more rows, ie. less weight over the nose to negatively effect handling and more rows = greater cooling capacity), upgrading your v8 to a roller set up (less friction, frees up horse power, efficiency, etc.), moving the battery to the trunk (by using a battery relocation kit you can move 50lbs. of dead weight to the back of your car off the nose, thus improving handling), Shelby drop (simple modification to the front suspension geometry that improves handling and braking), rack and pinion steering (firm and more reliable, modern steering set up that replaces the old style piece), modern/new style head light bulbs (not sure of all your options here are or what others have done), chassis stiffeners/sub-frame connectors (stiffens the body for better handling and launch), vintage air system if the car wasn't a factory air conditioned vehicle (do I really have to explain this one?), a nice set of comfy, bolstered aftermarket seats (holds your ass in place in comfort and style as you rip through the turns). Those are just SOME ideas, there are many more out there that someone else will bring up. Did I explain them well enough? Other members will probably be able to elaborate on some of them better than I did.

It your car is not a daily driver or a modded show car I would think that's a lot of overkill
. Just my opinion.

Which post are you referring to? If mine, I wasn't saying to do ALL of those things. Because yes for a drive doing all of that would be unnecessary. I was merely just offering as many different kinds of mods I could think of that weren't just typical engine hop-up suggestions.
