I bet you were thrilled over that... the 302 is a good engine..
I should have 130 hp with 200 torque @4400 rpm… I think ??

I'm not looking for power. Just a nice looking engine bay with some good eye candy..

By the way.. it is a lot more economical building the V8' over the six..

Looking Very Good.

I was wondering what you was going to do to make the hood close?

Yep, I know when I put in my A/C kit we had to make a couple spacers because of the header.

These are Autolite 1100 and they are suppose to be low enough to allow the hood to close. I can lower the air cleaners another 1/4 “, and if I have to I will cut the air filter down some.. If I have a problem it will be with the #3 or back card.

I have seen a lower profile cobra air cleaner that could be made to fit..I just don't care to much for the look..

I do not want to scoop the hood… Last I could lower the engine if push comes to shove…
Now it’s a wait and see…..

I was wondering how much clearance you had between the alternator and the fender well??
I’m looking at a 1-3/8 “ spacer… when I get it finished I will post some pictures..

I had/have a different bracket, but I do have a picture of it. Are you going to put a sanden compressor on it?

It is straight under the alternator

Thank you BA Mustang. It looks like I will barely skate by with the AC and alternator. For the crab breathers I could also use something like These
low profile if necessary to gain hood clearance..
Product ID: WEB-200-ACH
Low Profile Alloy Carb Hat
