backspacing to 1971 mustang???
high im new.i am looking at buying a 1971 mustang fastback.i want to know how wide a wheel i can go and also the backspacing i would need???the front would be 15x3.5 or 15x4 while the rear would be 15x8 with a 275/60r15 on the back if it would fit.i really would like to know the back cause the fronts are a little obvious.tia

The 1971 to 73 have biggest wheel well of all the classics. The standard back is still the same. 4.5" on a 7" & 8" Rim 5" on a 9" rim 5.5 on a 10" rim One the rear you can run a 29" tire and 25.5" tire on the front on the Largest size. |
