Leaf spring question.

Will the leaf springs from a 6 cyl and an 8 cyl be similar to each other?

I figure there will probably be a difference in the spring rate but are the physical dimensions gonna be the same? How about pinion angle on a 6 cyl compared to a 8 cyl, the same?
