Getting the Stang college ready, need help!

I'm getting ready to head off to college in the next few months and finally convinced my parents that doing some work to the 66 Mustang is better than buying a used car, but I need some help.

The suspension is in pretty bad shape and I was looking at this kit from Mustangs Plus:
Mustang Parts from Mustangs Plus :: Suspension and Handling :: Suspension Rebuild Kits :: 1965-66 Grab-A-Trak® Performance Suspension Rebuild Kit.
I'm not too familiar with Grab-A-Trak stuff so I was wondering if anybody here was more familiar with it.

I was also looking a disc brake kit from CSRP, again haven't seen many posts about it but I've heard good things.

If anybody has anything that I'm leaving out I always open to it.

Thanks

Your parents are right, buy a cheap used car to beat around campus. A sweet girl like your 66 needs a stable home with a roof over her head.

Grab a track front end kit is a good kit.

CSRP is a great place to get your disc brake kit.

Do everything you can to keep your high school car, You will always regret selling it, like most everyone does.

I still have my High School Mustang.

I wouldn't suggest selling it, just keep it garaged somewhere, drive a beater around campus. I've had my 68 fastback since just after high school, but my college car was a rusted out 81 subaru 4x4 wagon that I bought for $500. But I suppose that's not the advise that you are looking for...

Yes that is a very good kit for that. You can not beat the price.

Can you upgrade the calipers that come with the kit?

you have a choice of 2 different calipers.

The 1965/6 style 4 piston or the 1968 single piston.
