edlebrock throttle cable bracket

anyone ever installed this on their car? i got the part from sumit but it had no instructions. looked online for pix and instructions and i cant find anything. carb is edlebrock 1405 and the intake is an older torker 289 and the throttle cable is not sitting anywhere near correctly. part is edlebrock 1845. thanks! oh! and any idea on how to lean out the overall A/F mix? i'm currently running way too rich and what should i have my base timing and idle set at? currently sitting at 7*btdc and approx 800rpm
