Cowl repair for a '68

Will the cowl repair kit(s) that can be purchased (for example, from MustangUnlimited) work well on a '68? Are they a permanent fix and is it a complex and difficult operation?
Thanks

I have never done it, but I have heard that it will work good if your rust is around the fresh air intake and not anywhere else. If this kit don't fix it, then you can live with it or do a whole lot of work to fix it. I would try the kit.

i just got a cowl cover from NPD for mine...it wasn't that expensive and it doesn't look bad on the car either.

I got the whole cowl assembly from Dynacorn.....holy mother of god...it takes a little fitting, but it is the ULTIMATE piece for 67-68 mustangs. I'd just go that route, because remeber, if you take the cheap way out expect cheap quality.

Yes it better, but most people can't install it. From every thing that I have seen, its a lot and I mean alot of work and know how.

Yea, I know what you mean. Well to put it this way, if you have the time money and facilities to replace the whole thing..by all means DO IT. Its not too hard if you have some metalworking skills. Just a word of advice
