Throwout Bearing too short on my T5 swap pn 68 302

Greeting, I was working on a project that my father start feww years ago. I want to installed a (1990) T5 manual trans to a 1968 Mustang. The engine is a 5.0 foo 1989. I have a croos member kit that work great, but the issue is that when I intall all the pieces the "throwout bearing" was TOO short and do not reach the plate. The transmssion and all its components came from same car. The cluth is a King Cobra kit from FORD Racing. and the flywheel is a 157 teeth 50oz.

What bell housing are you using?

What throw out arm are you using. Old push set up or new pull set up?
