Knew you'd have the answer,...but damn that front end package is steep. How much would the steel fenders and hood weight.
I'm remembering waaay back, there was a guy a little older that had a 67 Chevelle with a tilt front end, almost 30 years ago, so I doubt it was glass. Could you just weld up the front end?

I am sure it was glass, They been doing glass front ends since the early 60's
