What other mods are done to the car? My first guess would be 650 double pumper, mech secondaries, and a Holley Blue Elec. Pump. That's what I had on my old car and it ran great

I think he meant that as in more of a what's been done to the engine sort of way. What heads, cam, and that sort of thing y'know.

By the way welcome to the forums.

Ok, now what are the specs on the heads (flow rates and etc.) and the cam (duration, lift, etc.)? I'm going to say AT LEAST a 650 cfm carb. You may want a little more though depending on the specs of the parts you listed.

Agree with countryboy... What kind of compression are you going to be working with?

How many RPMs is it going to spin? Is that part # the XE284H cam?

The volumetric efficiency formula is

CFM= CID X RPM / 3456

That's too much

If that is an XE284H cam, it will make peak power before it gets to 6000 RPMs. Even at 6000 it goes....

347X6000 = 2,082,000

2,082,000 / 3456 = 602.4 CFM

Considering most OTB carburetors don't flow the advertised numbers, I'd say a 650 mechanical secondaries would be perfect.

I thought that was a bigger, higher winding cam than it actually is. I never looked up the specs for it but for some reason I assumed it was.

So my bad on suggesting possibly going bigger than a 650.
