heater core Help please

hello! I am trying to change the heater core on my 70 coupe with air what a pain by the way. ok i have most of the dash out all loose but not all the way out. i hope i can get it this way i have it pulled away on passanger side. so i see the one bolt on the top inside and a few on the outside to get the box loose is that what i need to do is pull the box out of the car or do i leave the box bolted in an take off the bottom of the heater box?
thank you Tom

Remove the heater fan first. Then remove the main box.

Be sure to get a heater seal kit to rebuilt the box while it is out. It is $10.

That is the expansion valve, the little line is the temp sensor line.

The bulb is the reader. It is a pressure switch. It is what make the A/C work.

Lol....I don't need a heater. Start the 408, and open the kick panel vents.
