mach 1 brakes
folks, I got the 69 with the disc brake front end, all has been rebuilt, front calipers upgraded to twin spot, slightly larger discs fitted (kit supplied through a victorian company who claims 100% success, its just the kit dont work) vacume pump fitted to master, the rears lock up but the fronts barely grab.
Am thinking the master may not have the capacity to pump twin piston calipers. Also thinking a proportioning valve wont be the answer. any thoughts or suggestions appreciated |

A proportioning valve may be the answer. Are the rears still drum? If so, have you adjusted them? And yeah, it could be your master cylinder capacity..

You need a proportion valve.
The rear wheel cylinders are very small and take a lot less fluid to make them lock up. |
