I could be mistaken, but I bet a follow up call from your lawyer would get a different reaction. B'ham is full of lawyers, I'm sure if you bought one a beer he would make a call on your behalf.

I know you must be frustrated but you know what they say there are three sides to every story (your side, their side, and the truth, LOL), so please give us some details. What did you purchase? What specifically was wrong with it? We have seen these posts before someone is pissed off at a vendor and tells us to boycaught them, well that is very serious, that is someone's business so lets be fair and go through what happened. Not being a jerk man, I hope you work things out, heck maybe you can find strength in numbers, but we need more information before taking drastic actions, I hope you understand.

Not being a d!ck but here is their return policy in black and white from their website:

Returns/Exchanges

Refunds are limited to the purchase price of the goods sold. We will accept returns of any unsatisfactory item provided it is unused, in resalable condition and returned with a copy of your original invoice within 30 days of the invoice date. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be paid for by the buyer. Refunds will be limited to the purchase price of the products returned. Returns may be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee, unless they were shipped in error. Electrical parts, used parts, stripes, rubber seal kits, or literature are non-returnable. Always insure your return for it's proper value to protect yourself against the carrier loosing or damaging your package. Any returns should be sent prepaid via UPS. We will not accept shipments sent COD. No refund/credit will be extended for any merchandise returned in unsatisfactory condition; the item(s) will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

It's great to put that in writing, and it does serve a purpose, but at the same time they are dealing in a market that specializes in project vehicles, and project vehicles hardly ever stick to the predicted time line. In this industry you have to be flexible, and if someone has an un-opened part that they need to send back, then as long as they pay shipping, you should be willing to accept it. I have a radiator sitting in the garage I've had every intention of installing since October, just realized it's already May.....

Furthermore, if they ship the wrong part out, the onus is on them to take it back, even if it is covered in grease and nicked up where you tried to bang into the wrong vehicle with a hammer.

I bought my rims from stang-a-holics because they had them on clearance, but I'm not fond of the website, and the tech support usually just calls the vendor, which I can do myself. I've had much better luck dealing with Mustangs Unlimited. Besides, MU ships out of Atlanta, so in Alabama we get our parts over night.

Yes, that is what I like about MU as well. I love getting my parts the next day. Summit Racing and Jegs are the same way for me and the cool thing about summit is they will accept a return anytime, you might just have to pay a small fee after about 90 days or so but they still take the part.

Summit Racing is a well oiled machine with outstanding parts, incredible customer service, and a huge inventory. It is by far the best parts business around. Sure they sell bargain priced items from china, especially their own, but they offer quality and pricing that ranges across the entire board.
And dont knock walmart, I shop there. its necessary these days after buildng the mustang.

LOL - LOL - LOL... not a laughing matter at all!

Wow SVT I don't want to be a jerk but this is a classic gorilla warfare tactic. Stir up sheet and don't back it up, but the damage is done.

I don't know you and I don't know Stangaholics but you can't flip flop like that, that was my whole point, your side, their side, and the truth. Sounds like you created a stir and had nothing to back it up with, shame for small businesses across America who have to deal with this and usually end up eating the costs.

The Customer Is Not Always Right! regardless of what the lawyers tell you, LOL I had a small business for 10 years and it is friggen hard ok, everyone should try to run a small business, they would appreciate what goes on and not "feel entitled" or the need to be "compensated" all of the time. Who compensates the small business?

My Advice: Ignore any "don't do business with" advice posts in the future, LOL. No hard feelings SVT I'm just sayin'

I have plenty to back it up. However, my whole point was to read the fine print from the beginning when ordering parts online. Companies will enforce their policies and in some cases, depending on the employees, they will not do it very kindly. I did not appreciate getting laughed at. I can understand enforcing policies, but having only a 30 day return policy is crap. However, it is each businesses right to make up their own individual policies. And hence why i like doing business with larger companies when it comes to automotive parts. They have inventory, warehousing, large logistics departments, etc. that allow them to stock items, which therefore allows them to ship quicker and have return policies and restocking fees that are reasonable.

BTW, i own and run two small businesses.
