New Modular 5.0 Coyote in a 67-68 Mustang???

I have scoured the internet looking for pictures and info on installing a new Coyote motor in a 67-68 Mustang, but have not had any luck.
Surely there are several people doing this currently, but i cant seem to find any build threads.
So, has anybody else found a thread on this topic anywhere?

There are a few people doing the swap, but not any that I could find with detailed right ups. It's still such a new motor, but in the future I'm sure they will be popping up everywhere. Seems like right now the thing to do is swap them into fox bodies.

Your'e doing an amazing job with your 67/terminator swap that a 5.0 should be your next project

That 4.6l is staying right where its at in the current build.

I just obtained another 67 and i am trying to decide on the build-351W, new 5.0, etc. I dont have any money to invest/dump in the car currently, so i can take my time planning out the build process. Ill make sure to start a build thread for it as soon as the car arrives and i can take some good quality pictures. Im thinking Black with Gray Supersnake stripes for this one.

I have a Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords "Special Edition TECH Guide" and inn the cover it shows a Fox body and a tech inserting the new 5.0 engine in it. Although the issue does not mention anything about the build, I don't see why you should not ask them about it.

BTW, issue was dated for Winter 2011

I am building a 67 Convertible with a 2012 Boss engine right now. We are using the TCI suspension in our car. I need to modify the cross member and firewall as mentioned above. I have a bunch if pics if you are interested.

Hey everyone. I just found this site by googling new 5.0 motors and old mustangs. I have a 67 fastback. I was going to build a 408 windsor (clevor) motor...but I have decided to go new. I want to install a new boss motor in my car.

I've found hardly any info on this swap or even the 5.0 swap. Is there anymore info on this?

Is there any upgrades on the new Boss motor to increase the 444 horse power?

I'll be doing this in the spring...but I want to get as much info and collect parts over the winter for this project.

Also...I guess this is a hello to everyone too as this is my first post on here.

I just finished the install of my THIRD Coyote into the early Mustang..Was able to retain the O.E. headers. Used the Rod and Custom Motorsports package with their trans crossmember also...Fit was great...Found it to be easier than the 4.6 engines into these cars.
Crossmember is fabricated especially for the 5.0 Coyote with NO modificationsto be done on the crossmember. It fit like a glove....Had to work the firewall some and also the tunnel area as we were using the TKO 600 trans.
I tried to upload pics but they will not load for some reason.

We are in the middle of 5.0 swap in a 1967 mustang fastback

My dad and son bought a 1967 mustang fastback rolling chassis. They decided it would be a perfect candidate for the new Coyote engine. They also bought a 2012 mustang roll-over out of the insurance pool. We are using the engine, transmission and a number of other components from the 2012.

Presently, the engine and transmission are in the car. We are still gathering parts but are getting close to ready for paint. We have solved some of the problems and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
