Looks awesome man!! Do you mind me asking where you got the hood and side scoops from? I have what looks to be the exact same setup sitting the garage, waiting to be put on.

Hood came from KAR mustang, wasn't really thrilled with it though need a lot of work and had major pin holes all over. the scoops came from mustang depot and needed very little work. the best fiberglass we got though was from Fiberglass specialties. really did noice job on the decklid and racing apron. I was really impressed with the quality of the apron I got from Mustangs Plus. My scoops and hood came from KAR, and I know exactly what you are talking about. The fit of mine is exceptional, but the finish is terrible. Did you sand the whole thing down, or did you skim coat it with some body filler and then smooth it back out? I've been contemplating both ways.

Actually the issue is that the lines are not NOT crooked. If the line is straight, then it creates an optical illusion from head on that makes the lines appear closer in the back. Think about looking down a set of train tracks, they meet at the horizon. Same thing is going on with the stripes. The illusion is compounded by his hood scoop, which starts a new set of lines right above the converging lower lines. The original shelby lemans stripes are fatter in the middle than on the ends to combat this optical illusion.

I sanded first to remove what imperfections I could see then skim coated with body filler.
