couple questions

hey guys so i have a couple questions for you.

1. what will cause my car to pop/fall apart at higher rpms? i know the answer but i cant for the life of me remeber what it is.

2. my car stalls when put in gear, not right off the bat but the rpms take a HUGE dive and eventually dies out. i'm thinking vacuum leak but not sure where to look. i've got all the unused vacuum ports blocked off and the intake and carb are sealed up tight. i've got the original c4 mated to a 5.0

thanks in advance...

Do you have vacuum advance hooked up to the distributor. It sounds like a timing issue, and if it is only happening under a load/high RPMs something could be going on there.
