Hood hinges
Fiberglass Shelby hood will not lay down in back when closed. I used the light springs. Still seem too stiff. When I remove the springs it fits fine. I am afraid to use it without any springs and tired of having to push it down every time I close it. Any suggestions or tips. I am stumped!!
Thanks |

there are several new options available nowadays. I used the first one that came out made by the ring brothers. they are way expensive but really cool looking. and they are completely adjustable. they work incredibly well with the fiberglass hood. like I said there are other options now that are similar but I do not know how well they work.

Thanks guys. I am not sure what I want to do. I will need to think about it before I tear back into it. Took the springs off to try it and it lays right in place. I can see the problem but not the fix.
