[S-Car-Go]

I'd like to step up from 15" wheels, but my car is pretty low. I need to maintain 3.75" on the front side. So for a 17x8 wheel I'd need 5.25" of back space. Has anyone (Mustang One?) been able to use wheels with this much B/S? I'm prolly going to have to mock something up, but I'm open to suggestions. This is for the front. I can fit 17x9.5 out back.

Plan B is 16 x 7 w/4.25" B/S but that doesn't get me any wider rubber than I have now.

On the fronts we use a 17 X 8 with a 4.5" back space, 245/45/17 tire on a 1967 & up.

The Rears we use up to a 17 X 9.5 with a 5.5" back space with a 265/40/17 tire.

what we are running here is a 17 X 8 4.5" BS 245/45/17 & 18X 9.5 5.5 BS 265/40/18

Last weekend I tried a 15x8 4.5 B/S (225/60/15) on the front. The fender lip was sitting on the tire, pretty much flat with the sidewall. No way I could turn the wheel (the tire needed to be pulled in board).

Your car looks like it has the TCI IFS. Maybe this pulls everything in?

BTW That is a freakin beatiful car!!!! If I ever get this front wheel size worked out I will have to give serious thought to 18s in the rear. I've been looking at the same style wheel from Team 3.
