I buy my tires from discount tires direct, spark plugs, and oil from Auto Zone, and my shocks from Rock Auto.

Lol....That's pretty vague. What are you looking for?

It normally varies based on the part, some cheaper some not. But you could always check for sales as well. I typically go to Dallas Mustang as it's local to me. They often have good internet sales and discounts around this time. Others I have used for parts would be:
Larry's thunderbird and mustang parts
Virginia classic mustang
Those are the main ones I search, They have a good selection of factory correct mach 1 parts.

Pretty much every part is reproduced now, and easy to find. As mentioned above, it kind of depends on what specific part you're looking for.

The thing you got to watch out for is Cheap parts.

There is quality parts for a good price.

Like sheet metal the is 3 different grades of sheet metal,

Crap, pretty good, then to high "Ford Tooling"

The crap is most of the Taiwan sheet metal.

Pretty good is the dynacorn, golden legon, American design "spectra"

Weather striping is the other really big one. Only buy Daniel Carpenter weather strip.

I could right a book on this, but I wont.

For you I would look at this place C J Pony Parts

Thanks guys ill tell him about these websites, he was looking on ebay and I figured I would ask where you guys got your stuff from. Rite now its pretty rough, needs new paint job, wheels/tires, quarter window glass, some interior work. Engine has not been started in years so thats unknown at the moment. But hopefully by this coming summer it will be nearly complete.

For new parts I prefer National Parts Depot. Second choice is CJ's Pony Parts. Both have online catalogs and are pretty good about returns and dealing with problems.
Since junkyards are about naked of classic Mustangs, I will gladly drive quite a ways to attend a decent sized swap meet. If it's an oddball part that I don't mind paying way too much for and can stand the risk of being screwed I might hit Ebay. OK sometimes you can still find a deal or two there. Most of the stuff seems to be new repro parts priced higher than from any major parts vendor.
Different folks have their own preferences.
