Tie Rods for 65 Manual Steering-where to buy

I'm changing out the full suspension on a friends 65 convertible. After 90,000 miles, everything is shot. The one items we forgot to order are the inner and outer tie rods.
I checked and all of the local parts stores want around 65.00 a piece, with one store asking 45.00 for the moog brand tie rods. Crap, for 65.00 a piece, i would just tell him to go ahead and buy a bump steer kit for the outers.

Now, I did find a full set from mustangs unlimited for 100.00, but i am not sure of the quality. Can anybody comment on what they would recommend and where to buy them.

Thanks

They have grab a trac for a good price, but the problem is that they are in California and i am in Alabama. That means it will take about 5 days for shipping. I brought his car to my garage so that i could work on it quickly and get it out of the way. I have another car that will be ready to come home from the alignment shop tomorrow or Thursday, so i have to knock this out quick therefore must have the tie rods quickly as well.

I would buy Moog from the local parts houses.

Everything the Mustang fenders sell are made in taiwan.

Moog is still a USA made part, and better than grab a track for a street car.

Thanks! He is on a really tight budget and since i cant have the car sitting apart in my garage space for two weeks, i just ordered the set from mustangs unlimited for 97.00. He will probably not even drive the car but a few times a year, so hopefully they will be ok. All I know is that they have to be an improvement over the stock non greaseable units with 97,000 miles on them. They are in horrible condition, just as you would imagine.

One more question.

The new lower control arms that he purchased have non-greasable ball joints. Can i just drill a hole in the lower portion of the ball joint, thread the hole, and install a grease fitting?

Thanks, i noticed the old ones were that way, but they did not have fittings in them.

This car is really rust free and the original components are in good shape, minus the ball joints of course. Are original upper and lower control arms that have only surface rust worth anything? Or, should i just throw them in the metal recycling pile?
The rear spring shackles, U bolts, and front spring to frame bolts are in outstanding shape as well.
